Access Grants for National Conference

Statement of Purpose

NOA is pleased to introduce a new conference support program to help offset costs for those who might otherwise be unable to attend the national conference. By expanding access, we aim to lower barriers to the exchange of ideas and best practices across our community, seek to welcome new members, strengthen the diversity and vibrancy of the organization, and cultivate future leaders who will advance NOA’s legacy.

Program summary

Ten grants will be awarded to support attendance at the January 2026 Conference in Boston. The grants will be directly applied to, and will fully cover, the recipients' conference registration fees. Recipients will be responsible for their remaining expenses, such as travel, lodging, and food.

  • Individuals presenting in a session, on a panel, or in a poster session
  • First-time conference attendees
  • Faculty members at an HBCU
  • Those with potential to contribute to the diversity and vibrancy of the organization
